This is such an important topic for pet owners everywhere! Coping with the death of a furry friend is so painful and I’m sure many people will benefit from learning ways regarding how to do this. Hugs to you, ladies!
Thank you so much for your comment Bella. We aim to help people find their way in this process based on what we have experienced in our mourning processes (yes dogs mourn too :)) We hope all is well with you, your family and Roxy!
Love,
Bella, DiDi, Toby and Margot(our human)
I lost my best friend, Jess a beautiful black lab when she was 8. I miss her so much. I found a lady (Rockmyworld on ETSY) who makes finger print silver harts. I had a paw print my Vet took after she flew away, and my thumb print. Jackie sent me a kit which I did and sent back. About 2-3 weeks later she sent me a solid sterling silver heart. Half was my thumb print and the other half was Jessie’s paw print. I have never taken it off, it’s home s on my neck on a chain. Some how it helps and makes the pain a little less.
Sue,
I am sorry for your loss. That is a very unique jewelry piece. I am glad it helps you. We still have my late dog Marty’s favorite toy around the house. Sometimes it helps to just hold it.
