Dear Paws to Talk,

I am so happy. After months of work and change, many aspects of my life have improved and I feel great. While I am enjoying myself, I have had some worry too. I don’t want anything to change. I wish my life could stay like it is right now forever.

However, I am afraid what I have earned is too good to be true and hard times will come about again. How do I stay happy?

Howl Charlotte,

Thank you for writing to us. We aren’t doctors but we think you are suffering from typical human syndrome which we call “Making Life Complicated.”

For some reason, the syndrome involves humans getting cramps in their paws when they need to keep moving forward. We have seen this happen multiple times and are thinking about marketing an anti-cramp product just for this problem. So any sponsors who want to collaborate are welcome to contact us.

In the meantime, you have to keep living each day to the fullest. There is not one day where either one of us doesn’t run as fast as we can, love as hard as possible and eat treats at any chance we get.

No one has control over life. The big dog(s) in the sky or elsewhere (whatever you believe or do not believe) seem to be the one (s) who might have some power. However, who really knows?

The best way to hold onto your happiness is to revel in it. Stop calculating when happiness might leave.

If blue times come then you will make it through because you have done it before.

We understand that what we are saying may be difficult to do (this seems to be another symptom of the syndrome) but letting go of that worry might bring you to yet another high level of happiness.

Live like a dog and life will be much less scary (unless your yard is infested with squirrels).

Woof,

Bella and DiDi
