Canidae Dog Foods

Go together with a high quality food like Canidae for all stages (They do not have a "Puppy" and "Adult" formula – It’s 1 food for all stages of life). It’s a little additional expensive than a number of the other foods out there, however you mustn’t skimp on your dog when it comes to food – It will build him a healthier dog in the long term!

Four Paws Wee-Wee Pads

John - I know they aren't a new product but I just started using these pads for my older dog who has developed bladder issues recently. I use the largest size (about 2'X3') so they cover a lot of ground and are super absorbent. This product really saves me a lot of cleaning.

Bolt

Thomas - A friend of mine gave my two cats the Bolt, which I gather is a relatively new product. This is a laser beam toy that goes by itself automatically. You just turn it on, set it down and the light beam moves around and gyrates by itself. My cats, which are both five years old, go crazy. They love to follow the beam across the floor or up the wall. I’ve used other laser toys over the years and these have made the cats happy but the automatic toy makes me happy as well. After a few minutes moving a manual laser toy I get bored and tired way before the cats.

My only complaint about this toy is that it will automatically shut off after about 15 minutes. Frankly, I’d like it to run a little longer. The automatic shutoff is really nice because I can turn it on and leave it running. I love toys that keep my cats occupied and give them a little exercise as well.

Snap-Bits by Canidae

Nancy - I recently tried Snap-Bits, a lamb meal and brown rice treat for dogs. It’s a bite-sized treat, bite-sized for dogs with a small bite that is. My dog is a little too big to use these as a main treat but they are great as a reward. They are a great size to use during training or anytime you want to get a dog’s undivided attention without offering bigger treats. Whatever the size, my dog readily accepts these treats and is happy with her reward.
